Ringworld: Books: Larry Niven
Ringworld is what may be Larry Niven’s most brilliant creation. Some of the benefits of a Dyson’s Sphere, without all of it’s disadvantages. The plot is not very deep; the book is more of a description of the artifact as viewed by a few explorers from another part of the galaxy, than it is the telling of a grand tale. But this first installment in the Ringworld series still remains one of the must-reads for science fiction fans of any era.
