On the subject of Craphound…

One the subject of being a craphound, I found a link to the Squalor Survivors web site. Thank heavens we’re not anywhere near as badly off as some of these folks. Well, except for our garage which would probably be classified as “class 2 squalor”. Oh, and one of my sons rooms too.

Looking over the site, including looking at the before & after pictures that some brave souls contributed, it is readily apparent just how serious an issue the hoarding behavior and/or Disposaphobia, or fear of throwing things away types of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). I’m fairly sure now that I have both of these as part of my makeup. Just take a look at my garage, where you’ll find boxes of stuff still sealed from two moves ago, and more than 10 years old. It really is time to get rid of all of that junk.

I know that these issues are not uncommon. I know others that have these in various degrees. Take a look a the site for yourself, you might be surprised.
